Congratulations! Casting has been emailed to all auditioning families. If you have not received your dancer's casting information, please contact us at info@vivadancecollective.com.
To accept your dancer's role(s), please complete the Role Acceptance Form by August 5. Dancers cast in multiple roles are welcome to participate in more than one part; however, if accepting fewer than all assigned roles, accept them in the order of priority listed on your casting email to help us maintain the integrity of the production.
Have a dancer under age 6 who would still like to participate? We'd love to include them! If you missed the initial interest form, simply email info@vivadancecollective.com by August 5, and we'll be happy to reserve a spot!
Costume + Participation Fees
The participation fees for each role are outlined below. Since many dancers are cast in multiple roles, discounted pricing is available for second and third roles.
First Role

$150 refundable costume deposit (per costume)

$50 non-refundable costume rental fee (per costume)

Corps, Character & Demi-Soloist: $100 per role

Second & Third Roles

Your Ellever account will reflect one combined payment that includes the costume deposit(s), costume rental fee(s), and participation fee(s). Payment is due by August 15.
Costume Returns
All costumes must be returned by Friday, December 18th. Refundable deposits will be returned in January after all rentals have been inspected and confirmed to be free of damage beyond normal wear.
Please note that families are responsible for the full replacement cost of any costume that is damaged beyond routine cleaning or repair.
LET'S GET the magic STARTED
We can't wait to get things started! Nutcracker rehearsals will kick off Friday, August 7th. Rehearsals will primarily take place on Fridays, with only a few additional Saturday and Sunday rehearsals scheduled throughout.
Please refer to the casting sheet for your dancer's assigned times. Not every role will rehearse every Friday, so please be sure to check the schedule carefully.
Our rehearsal schedule will be released one month at a time at the beginning of each month and will be The running schedule will be available through the Nutcracker Unlocked Parent View folder. As this is VIVA's first Nutcracker, we're taking a month-by-month approach to ensure each role has the rehearsal time and coaching it needs as we continue building the production, while ensuring families have enough time to plan schedules accordingly.
